How To Measure

Halter measuring

This will help you to measure your horse or cow or goats for a halter to ensure the perfect fit. 
Please make sure you measure all the way around.


A: NOSE: Measure across the nose from cheek to cheek. (on a mini, pony or foal about one fingers width below the cheek bone. On a horse use about two fingers width below the cheek bone) (cow use picture to help with best placement)
B: NOSE CIRCUMFERENCE: Measure all the was around the nose right below the cheek bone.
C: POLL: From right cheek over poll (behind ears) to left cheek right below the cheek bone.


For cows or goats Use the measurements for the horse halter as shown above

A: NOSE: Measure across the nose from check to cheek. 
B: NOSE CIRCUMFERENCE: Measure all the was around the nose right below the cheek bone.
C: POLL: From right cheek over poll (behind ears) to left cheek right below the cheek bone.
Cheek measurements help for those hard to fit sizes.

Bridle measuring

Bridle measurements western and english. Follow this guide to measure your horse to ensure the perfect fit.

A: BIT TO BIT: Measure at the corner of your horses mouth over the poll to the other corner of his mouth.
B: NOSEBAND: measure all the way around the nose just below the cheek bone.
C: BROWBAND: measure loosely right behind your horses ears from one side to the other.
D: THROAT LATCH: measure loosely all the way around your horses throat latch. make sure there is about 3 fingers worth of slack.

Breast collar measuring

A: SHOULDER: measure from the middle of your horses chest to where you want it to end.
B: CONNECTING STRAP: measure loosely form the middle of the horses chest to the d ring on your girth.
C: SADDLE STRAP: measure where the shoulder ends to the saddle D.
D: WITHER STRAP: measure from A's ending point across horse withers to the other side.
